Fulham’s Academy welcomed Slovakian goalkeeper Marek Rodák midway through the 2012/13 season, before signing him permanently in July 2013.

The stopper began his career in his homeland with MFK Košice and was selected for the Slovakia Under-16 side during his time there.

Offered a trial with Fulham, he was put straight into the Under-18 setup despite his tender age and impressed, becoming first-choice for the remainder of the season and even elevating himself to become the goalkeeper for Fulham's successful Dallas Cup campaign with the Under-19s.

He was a vital part of the Under-18 side who claimed their second successive Barclays Premier League title and signed a scholarship deal in July 2013 to keep him in SW6.

Played a key role as Fulham reached the Final of the FA Cup Youth Cup and also played 14 league games in the 2013/14 season.

The 2014/15 season saw him take his place among the Fulham substitutes for the first time for our win over Leeds United at Elland Road, before he joined Farnborough in January on a two-month youth-loan. He finished the campaign having made 16 appearances for Fulham's Under-21 side.

On 25th November 2015, it was confirmed that Rodák had signed a contract extension, keeping him at the Club until the summer of 2018.

On 15th January 2016, he joined Welling United on loan for the remainder of the season, and a year later he took in a similar spell with League Two outfit Accrington Stanley. He made a huge impact at Stanley, helping them move from relegation candidates to comfortably mid-table courtesy of a 13 match unbeaten run.

After making his First Team debut for Fulham at the beginning of the 2017/18 campaign, Rodák joined League One outfit Rotherham United on loan for the remainder of the season. Midway through the campaign, he agreed a deal to extend his Whites contract until 2020.

He helped the Millers win promotion via the Play-Offs, and that summer he extended his time with Fulham before returning to the New York Stadium for 2018/19. Despite impressing between the sticks, Rodák was unable to prevent Rotherham's relegation from the Championship. A firm fan favourite during his time at the club, he racked up 84 appearances during his time in Yorkshire.
