Matchday Supporter Services

Supporters can request birthday announcements by contacting the Club in advance of the day of the game. Announcements are made on the big screen, 30 minutes prior to kick-off and then again at Half-Time.

Due to other matchday considerations we can generally only accommodate 30 messages at each game. As a result, where possible we do ask fans to contact us several weeks ahead of the date of the match to ensure that we are able to grant their request.

Requests can be made by email to or by telephone 0843 208 1222 (option 4). Calls will cost 7 pence per minute plus your telephone company's access charge.) Regrettably, we are not normally able to add announcements to the matchday script on the day of the game. 

You can also tweet messages for inclusion on the big screen (and concourse screens) by including the hashtag #ffcbigscreen in your message. These are vetted and the best ones will appear throughout the build-up to the game.

Audio Commentary Headsets
The Club has 10 radio headsets available to supporters with visual impairments. A headset can be booked in advance by calling the Disability Liaison Officer on 020 8336 7477.

A credit or debit card number will be required and users, or their personal assistants, are required to give written consent agreeing to cover the cost of the headset should it not be returned.

Headsets can be collected on the day of the match from two hours prior to kick-off from the Ticket Collection Booth, located just outside the Ticket Office in the Johnny Haynes Stand on Stevenage Road. Headsets must be returned after the game to either the Ticket Office or the Security Office behind the Hammersmith Stand.

There are no ATMs at the stadium.

The closest ATM machine is located in the Londis Convenience Store at 58 Kenyon Street, SW6 6LB. This machine charges £1.50 per transaction.

An ATM machine can also be found in the office of taxi firm London Traffic Cars at 325 Fulham Palace Road, SW6 6TJ. This machine charges £1.99 per transaction.

The closest free ATM machines are operated by HSBC & Nationwide and are located just outside Putney Bridge Underground Station, at 5 Station Approach Road, SW6 3UH. 

Quick Pass offers a convenient solution for Season Ticket Holders and Members, who can load funds onto their access card and use this to make catering purchases at outlets around the stadium. 

Betting Kiosks
Betting kiosks are located in each stand. The kiosks open approximately 90 minutes prior to kick-off and bets can be placed on that days game. Odds are listed on boards outside the kiosk, or are available on request from a member of betting staff.

Bicycle Storage
Bicycle storage racks are located just behind the Putney End of the stadium, adjacent to the entrance gate to Bishops Park. Use of this facility is free of charge but please note that the area is not operated or supervised by the Club and bicycles are left at the owners own risk.

Billy the Badger
The Club mascot, Billy the Badger, always works hard on matchdays to support the Team and to meet with supporters. In addition to his pitchside duties, Billy can usually be found approximately one hour prior to kick-off outside the stadium on Stevenage Road.

Billy is happy to stop for photographs or to meet with fans of all ages on a matchday. 

Birthday Messages (Programme)
You can request for a short birthday message to be included in our matchday programme by contacting the Club to confirm the content of your message. Please note that due to print deadlines messages must be received not later than 10 days prior to the date of the game.

Cashback is not available at the stadium.

Cashback is available with purchases at the Tesco Express store, located at 335 Fulham Palace Road, SW6 6TD. 

Covered Seating
Most of the seats inside the stadium are covered.

The numbered rows at the front of the Hammersmith Stand (up to Row 6) & the Johnny Haynes Stand (up to Row 4) are officially classified as Uncovered.

The Lower section of the Riverside Stand and the front section of the Putney End (up to Row E) are also classified as Uncovered.

The sides of the stands are mostly open so as a general rule the further back you sit the more protection you are afforded from the elements.

Credit Cards
Most major credit cards including American Express can be used at the stadium Ticket Office, Stadium Store & the Café at the Cottage. Debit cards can also be used at these locations.

Credit cards be used at the mobile Retail Unit behind the Hammersmith Stand but cannot be used at the catering kiosks inside the stadium.

Customer Service
If you have a query or require assistance during your visit to the stadium please make yourself known to the nearest Steward or Club Representative.

You can call the Supporter Relations Department from 9am on a matchday on 0843 208 1222 (option 4) (calls will cost 7 pence per minute plus your telephone company's access charge.) The line is open until one hour after the final whistle.

The Supporter Relations Department also pick up and respond to emails on matchday until approximately midday.

Recommended routes away from the stadium (including the location of away supporters coaches) are indicated on Stevenage Road by staff members using handheld signs. Bishops Parks is open for supporters to use when leaving the stadium, including at evening games, when it remains open for at least 30 min after full-time.

Park wardens or police officers will travel through the park to advise if it is about to close.

Hawkers (catering)
Mobile vendors work in selected areas of the stadium selling a range of hot and cold food and drinks. Hawkers are generally to be found on the concourse behind the stand and will also periodically walk the length of the block stairs in the stand.

Their uniform is red.

During the half-time interval hawkers also work their way around the perimeter of the pitch, just in front of the stands. Purchases made through hawkers must be in cash only.

The closest hotel to the stadium is the Premier Inn Putney Bridge at 3 Putney Bridge Approach, London, SW6 3JD. They can be contacted directly on 0871 527 8674. 

Left Luggage
A free Left Luggage facility is located at Bridge Academy School on Finlay Street.  The Left Luggage facility opens approximately 90 mins prior to kick-off and is staffed for the duration of the game.

Matchday Music
The pre-match entrance music played over the PA system as the teams walk down the tunnel is usually 'Palladio' by 'Escala'. The Fulham players often emerge for the second-half to ‘I’ve Got a Feeling’ by ‘Black Eyed Peas’ or ‘London Calling’ by ‘The Clash’.

A good result will often mean a rousing post-match rendition of ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’ by Andy Williams, or sometimes the version by English rock band Muse. 

Obituary (programme)
You can request for an obituary tribute to be included in our matchday programme by contacting the Club to confirm the content of your submission. Please note that due to print deadlines messages must be received not later than 10 days prior to the date of the game if they are to be included in a specific edition.

Where possible we will seek to include any tributes we receive in the next available edition. We will also be happy to include a small photograph if one can be provided.

Programmes are on sale from a number of locations in and around the stadium. Mobile vendors are located on the approach to the stadium on Stevenage Road and also inside the stadium on the concourses at the Hammersmith Stand and Putney End. Payment through mobile vendors can be made in cash only.

You can also pick up a copy of the match programme from the stadium shop. The programme is usually priced at £3.50. 

The score is displayed on big screens that hang from the roof of the Hammersmith and Putney Ends of the stadium. During the pre-match build up it displays information on the team selections. Other information including the time and substitutions is displayed as the match progresses.

Birthday messages and other announcements can also be displayed on this scoreboard. 

Stewards are located in a number of locations in and around the stadium. They are there to ensure the health and safety of the crowd and also to assist with any queries or problems that supporters have before, during or after the game.

Their uniform is a bright yellow jacket with dark trousers.

If you have any problems during a game please approach the nearest available steward for assistance. Stewards are equipped to help with a range of queries, from simple directions to more complex problems such as fan misbehaviour, lost property or illness.

Outside the turnstile entrances and Ticket Office, you may also spot Stewards wearing white bibs and dark jackets. They have access to PDA devices which can be used to read information stored on Season Ticket & Membership cards. 

Team Sheets
Team sheets are not available for purchase or general distribution on the day of the game.

Access Control Card
Plastic access card used by Season Ticket Holders and Members to enter the stadium. Ticket information is uploaded directly onto the card in advance of the day of the game.

Season Ticket Holders & Members must be in possession of their Access Card to gain entry to the stadium.

If a ticket has been reported as lost, stolen or damaged then a new ticket will be issued. This automatically replaces the previous issue, which will become invalid for use.

Away Season Ticket
The Away Season Ticket is a scheme open to Season Ticket Holders which ensures that they are also automatically allocated a ticket for each Away game played over the course of a season.

The cost of a match ticket is automatically deducted from the supporters given account and a match ticket is sent to their registered address.

Supporters who sign up for the Away Season Ticket commit to purchasing a ticket for each confirmed Away fixture over the course of a season.

Supporters can sign up for the Away Season Ticket scheme in advance by selecting this option during the pre-season Season Ticket renewal or aqcuisiton process.

Booking Fees
Booking Fees for ticket purchases vary depending on the method of sale. Booking Fees are designed to cover costs such as printing, ordering of ticketing stock, licenses for software systems, staff costs, stationery, postal costs etc.

They vary from Transaction Fees, which are covered separately elsewhere in this section.

Cash Turnstiles
From time to time cash turnstiles will operate at selected matches. These are usually friendlies, cup games, or B & C grade league matches at which a number of tickets remain unsold in advance of the day of the game.

You can call in advance on matchday to check if tickets remain available or if cash turnstiles will be in operation. Telephone either 0843 208 1234 (option 3) (calls will cost 7 pence per minute plus your telephone company's access charge) or 0343 208 1222 for assistance.

Stewards located on Stevenage Road will be able to guide you to the nearest Cash Turnstile.

Credit or debit cards cannot be used to make payments at the turnstile.

Collection Point (for tickets)
Pre-booked tickets which are held for collection are available on matchdays from the white, mobile kiosks that stand just outside the Ticket Office in the Johnny Haynes Stand.

The Collection kiosks open 2 hours prior to kick-off. Please bring either a printed copy of your email booking confirmation or alternatively a note of the Booking Reference Number. You may also be asked to verify the name and postal address linked to the original booking.

The Collection kiosks remain open right up until kick-off but we would advise arriving not later than 45 mins prior to the start of the game.

No match tickets are sold from the Collection Kiosks.

Damaged / Defective Tickets
From time to time paper match tickets or Access Cards will not scan properly at the turnstile. This is usually caused by wet weather or damage to the barcode on the paper ticket, or chip in the Access Card.

The barcode in the ticket may also have been deactivated if the booking has been cancelled, or if the Club have information that the ticket was illegally resold.

If a red light flashes on the turnstile indicator this means that your ticket or card has not been accepted. Please return to the Ticket Office for further assistance.

Double Bookings
If you find another supporter in your allocated seat and are unable to resolve the situation amicably then you should make contact with the nearest available Steward. You may be required to show your own paper match ticket or access card to establish proof of purchase.

Where tickets have been uploaded onto Membership Cards it is always useful to bring a printed copy of your email confirmation, or alternatively a note of the location of your allocated seat.

Season Ticket Holders should note that the seat allocated to them for league games will only be automatically allocated for cup matches if they have enrolled in the Home Cup Tie scheme.

Eligibility (tickets)
Season Tickets and individual match tickets may be given to family or friends to use, provided that they qualify to do so by age (ie: no Adults on a Junior Ticket)

No prior consent if required from the Club for you to transfer a ticket, unless this is requested. Whilst they are transferable, ordinary Season Tickets are not intended for multiple or shared use. The Season Ticket Holder remains responsible for the behaviour of any supporter who uses their ticket. They are also responsible for ensuring the ticket is returned to them safely after the game.

Please note that it is an offence to sell a ticket – even at face value – without the prior consent of the Club.

Home Stands are for the use of home supporters only. Tickets should not be purchased or given to fans of the visiting team to use if they are in any of the designated Home areas of the ground.
All tickets can be used only once. After supporters have entered the stadium they may not leave and re-enter again on the same ticket.

Fixture Changes
Dates and kick-off times will be announced in the press, the club programme and online at

Fixtures may be altered at short notice. You can sign up online to receive notifications of fixture changes. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ascertain dates and kick off times.

Friends & Family
Ticketing scheme that allows Season Ticket Holders or Members to link their Club account with that of their Friends & Family. When accounts are linked individual supporters may purchase tickets using the allocation for each of the tickets linked to their own.

Grade (match)
League matches are graded according to the expected level of demand, the importance of the game and the profile of the opposition. The Grade of the game is set as either A, B or C. Season Tickets are unaffected by match gradings but the price of all individual match tickets will vary accordingly.

Group Bookings
Group booking requests may be made in advance, either by calling the Ticket Office or completing the online group booking request form found in the ‘Tickets’ section at

The upper limit for individual purchases is sometimes set between 2 – 6 tickets. If you require more than 6 tickets for a game which is not listed as ‘Unlimited’ this would be considered as a group. Special offers are sometimes available, usually only at selected B or C Grade games. Email: for further information and assistance. 

Children under 4 years of age may be brought into the stadium without a match ticket, provided that their parent/guardian is comfortable with the child on their lap for the duration of the game. If you wish to have a seat allocated to an infant, please purchase a Junior ticket.

Home Cup Tie Scheme
Home Cup Tie is a scheme open to Season Ticket Holders that ensures they are automatically allocated their own seat at Home Cup ties over the course of a season.

Whenever a Home Cup tie has been confirmed the cost of a match ticket is automatically deducted from the supporters account and the ticket information is uploaded onto the relevant Season Ticket Access Card.

Supporters who sign up to the scheme commit to purchasing a ticket for every Home Cup tie in the FA Cup, the League Cup and where applicable UEFA competitions.

Supporters can sign up for the Home Cup Tie scheme in advance by selecting this option during the pre-season renewal or acquisition process.

During the course of the season if supporters wish to join the scheme, or to be removed, then they should contact the Ticket Office directly. One a Season Ticket has been removed from the scheme you may not rejoin again at a later date in the same season.

Junior Match Tickets
Junior Tickets are available for supporters who are under 17 years of age on the day of the game.

Junior Season Tickets
Junior Season Tickets are available for supporters who are under 17 years of age.

Lost Season Ticket / Membership Card
If you lose your Season Ticket or Membership Card please report this immediately to the Ticket Office. An administration charge of £5 is levied to cover the cost of printing new cards.

If your card has been stolen this should be reported in the first instance to the local police. They will issue you with a Crime Reference Number. The Club will waive the administration charge for reprinting stolen tickets upon confirmation of this number.

If you lose your card on the day of the game please report in person to the Ticket Office. We would advise arriving not later than 1 hour prior to kick-off where possible to ensure that a new card can be issued prior to the start of the game.

Once a Season Ticket or Membership Card has been reprinted the original can no longer be used to gain entry to the stadium. If you subsequently recover your original card and have already received a reprint then please safely dispose of the earlier issue.

If you find a Season Ticket or Membership Card then please hand it to the nearest member of staff, or return it directly to our Ticket Office.

Lost Tickets (matchday)
If you lose your ticket on matchday you should report to the Ticket Office in the Johnny Haynes Stand on Stevenage Road, which is open until half-time.

You will be asked to verify some of the details linked to your order, which may include your Client Reference Number, the Booking Reference Number or personal information such as your address or telephone number.

Please note that tickets are reprinted at the discretion of the Ticket Office Manager.

Loyalty Points
The Loyalty points scheme is used to reward supporters who make advanced purchases for tickets for home and away games. Season Ticket Holders, Members and any supporters making a purchase using their Client Reference Number will automatically be credited with the relevant number of points for that game.

The number of points on offer for each game varies based on the popularity of the fixture, the distance travelled etc.

Loyalty Points will be used by the Club as a means of administering the sale of tickets for ‘in demand’ games, where demand is expected to greatly exceed supply.

On Sale Dates 
In general terms, tickets for Home matches are released for sale not later than 6 weeks ahead of the date of the game. For Away matches, tickets are usually on sale 4 weeks prior to date of the game. 

Two separate on sale release dates are usually advertised. The first is for Season Ticket Holders and Club Members and the second date is for General Sale. 

As sales windows are advertised in advance, it should be noted that each window is operated subject to availability. Tickets may sometimes sell out during the first phase of sale. 

Sales always commence at 10am on the given date, unless stated otherwise. 

An upper limit on the number of tickets which can be purchased in applied. This is generally between 2–6 tickets per person.

Refunds (match tickets)
If a match is postponed the ticket will be valid for the rearranged match. Refunds will only be given if the ticket is returned to the Ticket Office within 7 days of the rescheduling announcement (which shall be made on provided that this is still more than 7 days before the rescheduled date.

Refunds (Membership)
Memberships are non refundable. Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, on a discretionary basis. Requests should be put in writing to the Membership Coordinator at:

Restricted View
Classification of ticket given to any seat where the view of either goalmouth is obscured by a permanent fixture, such as a roof supporting pole. Restrcited View tickets are usually discounted.

Due to the age and layout of Craven Cottage there are a number of Restricted View seats at various locations in the stadium.

Transaction Fees
Transaction Fees are a charge applied to credit or debit card ticket bookings. They are designed to cover the associated charges which are levied by banks to the Club whenever a booking is processed.

They vary from Booking Fees, which are covered elsewhere in this section.

Terms & Conditions

The turnstile is the generic name given to the public entrance points for supporter at the stadium. The Club operate an Access Control system that requires supporters to place their paper ticket or Access Card into a reader prior to entry.

The reader will indicate a green light if the ticket is valid and a redl light if it is not.

When the green light is illuminated please remove your ticket and walk through the turnstile barrier, which should turn as you push against it.

If you encounter any problems please contact the nearest Steward or return with your ticket to the Ticket Office for further assistance.

Supporters with restricted mobility may find the turnstiles narrow and difficult to negotiate. Please contact the nearest Steward if you require assisted entry through a more accessible gate.

Turnstile Numbers
Depending upon your location in the ground your ticket will be valid for entry at a selected number of turnstiles only. On paper tickets the relevant information is printed towards the bottom of the ticket, just above the barcode.

Junior or Concession Season Tickets can be upgraded to an adult match ticket on a game-by-game basis.

We recommend arranging your upgrade in advance of the day of the game, either in person at the Ticket Office or by calling 0843 208 1234 (option 3). Calls will cost 7 pence per minute plus your telephone company's access charge

You can also upgrade a Season Ticket on matchday by visitng the Ticket Office.

The cost of an upgrade is calculated as the difference between 1/19th of the Season Ticket price and the releavnt face value for a match ticket in that part of the stadium for that particular game.

Individual match tickets cannot be upgraded.

Locations and Attractions

Bishops Park
Public park located just behind the Putney End of the stadium. The Fulham Foundation operate weekend coaching courses at this location and nearby Hurlingham Park throughout the year. The Park has a number of green meadows and boasts the capital's only urban beach and paddling pool. There are 3 play areas, an ornamental lake and a cafe.

Corporate Reception
Glass fronted matchday entrance for Corporate Hospitality guests. Located in the Johnny Haynes Stand on Stevenage Road.

Cottage Balcony
Small area of seating located within the Cottage with views from the Players Tunnel corner out onto the pitch. This area is reserved for the use of players family and friends and tickets are not released for sale.

Cottage Corner
Name given to the seating area in the Putney End stand which is closest to the Cottage. The seating block locations are P1 & P2. This section is most commonly a Home or Neutral area of the stadium. 

Cottage Gates
Entrance gates used on matchday by players & officials to gain access to the stadium which makes this a popular pre-match spot for autograph hunters. The Cottage Gates are located in front of the Cottage, with access from Stevenage Road. This area is not accessible to the public but supporters are free to wait & watch from behind the barriers as the teams arrive.

Family Section
The designated Family Sections inside the stadium are located in Blocks A, AL, K & KL of the Johnny Haynes Stand. Specially priced Season Tickets and individual/family ticket offers for selected games are available for this section of the stadium. A variety of pre-match activities for Family Section ticket holders take place in the concourse, underneath Block KL.

Green Pole
The Green Pole is a roof supporting fixture that stands towards the rear of the Hammersmith End between Blocks H4 & H5. Particularly in the days when this area of the stadium was terracing, it was widely renowned as a meeting point and an area of the ground associated with supporters who began chants and songs on matchdays.

Johnny Haynes Stand
The Johnny Haynes Stand is a Home stand which runs the length of one touchline and backs onto Stevenage Road. The stand is now the oldest still in use in the Premier League. It was designed by the noted Scottish engineer Archibald Leitch and construction was completed in 1905. The structure is a Grade 2 listed building and is protected by English Heritage.

It houses the Ticket Office, Stadium Shop and the Café at the Cottage, which doubles as a Hospitality Lounge on matchday and is the main venue for post-match press conferences. The press and media room is located towards the centre of the stand with the Press Box located in the centre of the upper tier.

The upper tier has retained its original wooden seating and in recent years images of Johnny Haynes have been added to the interior screen end at either side of the stand. The lower paddock, which was originally a standing area, is now all-seated.

At the front of the stand Rows 1 – 3 are uncovered. The lower tier is then completed by 12 rows, listed Rows AA to JJ. The Upper Tier comprises of 18 rows, with Row A at the front and Row R at the rear.

Johnny Haynes Statue
Statue of our most famous player is located on Stevenage Road, just in front of the Haynes Place café in the Johnny Haynes Stand. A useful meeting place on matchdays.

Hammersmith End
The Hammersmith or ‘Hammy’ End is a Home Stand located behind the goal at the end of the stadium that lies geographically closest to Hammersmith. The area was previously a terraced standing area but was redeveloped in 2004 to bring it into line with modern Premier League requirements.

Front-to-back, the seating rows are labelled 2-6, then A back to XX. (56 rows in total) The numbered rows are uncovered.

The rear of the stand, particularly in the central blocks, is widely regarded as the most vocal section of the stadium.

Contemporary sports themed bar located underneath Z Block in the Riverside Stand. Matchday access is restricted to supporters with relevant Hospitality package tickets only.

The stadium pitch is a grass surface that currently measures 100 x 65 metres.

Players' Entrance
Located in the corner of the stadium between the Putney End & Johnny Haynes Stand. The entrance links the Cottage forecourt with the pitch and is used by both teams when they make their official pre-match entrance, approximately 5 mins prior to kick-off.

Putney End
A stand behind the goal which is closest to Bishops Park and Putney which houses Home, Away and Neutral supporters. The stand was formerly an area of uncovered terracing but was redeveloped in 2004 and is now all seated, with almost all of the seats covered.

The front rows (A – E) are uncovered. Moving back into the stand the rows are then labelled to the back row, which is ZZ. These 52 rows all offer covered seating.

The layout of the seating deck varies from game-to-game, but generally Blocks P1 to P3 are used to house Home or Neutral supporters. The size of the official Away section changes depending on the number of travelling fans. It is normally housed between Blocks P4 – P7.

Press Box
Press facility located in the central block of the Johnny Haynes Stand with access from the concourse.
This area is not open to the public.

Riverside Stand
A Home stand which runs the length of one touchline and backs onto the River Thames. The stand was developed in the late 1960s and now houses the Directors and main Corporate Hospitality areas. It features a number of restaurants and Corporate Lounges and is also home to McBride's Sports Bar.

Other features including the DJ Box and main television camera gantry and also located in this stand.

Rows 1 – 5 are in the Lower Section. The first row is unsuitable for children or smaller adults, due to the relatively low vantage point over the pitchside advertising hoardings.

Row A marks the start of the upper block and the back row is T or Y, dependant upon the Block.

River Thames
River which flows directly past the stadium, by the Riverside Stand. 

Riverside Gate
Access gate located on the Riverside Terrace which allows supporters to pass onto the concourse and access tunnel in the Putney End of the stadium. In order to ease congestion fter the full time whistle this gate is kept closed until the supporters in the Putney End have exited the stadium. This process normally takes between 7 – 10 mins.

Riverside Terrace
Open air concourse located directly behind the Riverside Stand. This area is open on matchdays for Hospitality guests and supporters with a seat in the Riverside Stand. Commands wonderful views out onto the River Thames, which is located immediately behind the stadium.

On matchdays mobile catering units are located on the Terrace.

Big screens hang from the roof of the Putney and Hammersmith End stands. Displays match information, including the team line-ups, the score, match clock and details of any substitutions.

Stevenage Road
The main road that runs parallel with Bishops Park & the Johnny Haynes Stand. Access to the stadium through the Cottage Gates, & also access to the Café at the Cottage, Corporate Reception, Ticket Office, Stadium Shop, Press Area & Security entrance are all located on Stevenage Road.

Turnstile access to all areas of the stadium is also located on Stevenage Road. 

Technical Area
Dugouts and specially marked area in which managers are allowed to view the game from the touchline. The Technical Area is located by the halfway line, in front of the Riverside Stand. The Home dugout is the one closest to the Putney End of the stadium. The dugout area also contains seating for the 4th Official. Our stadium announcer is usually located in and around this area during the Half Time interval.

The Cottage
Iconic building dating from 1905 which is located between the Putney End & Johnny Haynes Stands. In addition to some offices, the Cottage houses the players changing rooms, referees room & managers office.

This area of the stadium is not open to the public but can we visited by joining an official stadium tour.
